Meet the Speakers
The program will feature two attorneys from Preovolos Lewin:
Scott McPherson is a California attorney, fractional general counsel, and registered patent attorney with more than 20 years of experience spanning legal compliance, intellectual property, employment matters, litigation, contract negotiation, corporate governance, and regulatory strategy.
His background includes serving as General Counsel for both publicly traded and privately held growth-stage companies, serving as first or sole in-house counsel, working as a member of in-house legal teams, founding an intellectual property law practice, and managing complex intellectual property portfolios and litigation strategies.
Raisa Soares Leal focuses her practice on complex business disputes, trust and estate litigation, intellectual property, and cross-border matters. Over a legal career spanning two decades, she has played significant roles in sophisticated disputes involving multimillion-dollar claims and settlements, substantial factual and evidentiary records, and matters where legal, financial, and business considerations intersect.
Her experience also includes working with experts and witnesses, navigating complex discovery, and helping shape litigation strategy from motion practice and settlement negotiations through trial.
